An Ontology-Based Grid Service Discovery Model

Songjie Gong · Microelectronics & Computer · 2008

In the grid environment, the grid service discovery mechanism is of great significance and of great efficiency for the system's performance. Currently model is based on keywords and concentrated, lack vivid and automation. A grid service discovery model based on ontology and agent is presented. An agent is used to search grid services, and different agent can provide ontology of different knowledge domain; the semantic-based match is also used to increase the match accuracy and offers the intelligent search. That model raised the accurate rate of the service detection, serve the autonomy of management and permit the wrong.
