Analysis on a fracture accident of transformer bushing downlead clamp

The configuration of the PST-1200 series digital transformer protection device was introduced.In a 220kV substation,an accident of main transformer high-voltage side bushing downlead clamp fracture was happened in its copper-aluminum transi-tional zone.The corresponding action logic of the protection device was analyzed;and it was pointed out that when the circuit-fracture accident happened,the protection device should not activate or act to trip because of that the device can not feel the fault current.Aiming at common fracture accidents,some improvement measures were put forward,which is helpful for decreasing accident.
