Application of ontology based on semantic Web

To study the construction method of knowledge ontology based on the semantic Web system, an ontological construction framework is proposed and designed. The existing conceptual schemas are fully used during the ontological construction, thereby the work strength in the term collection is decreased. To raise the speed of constructing ontology, several auxiliary methods are proposed:the conceptual schemas’ elements are directly transformed into ontology’s elements via exchange rules; by using conceptual quantitative technique, a classifying algorithm is designed, which implements automatical term classification by solving the ontological affinity, constructional dependency and coupling compactness between items . So an effective feasible solution for domain ontology construction is given.
