At present,the situation of groundwater in China is very severe,so the source assessment of groundwater is essential.Visual MODFLOW Software has been widely used in groundwater resource assessment.The development background of Visual MODFLOW software,Visual MODFLOW software and its application status,existing problems and trends of development in China is introduced briefly.
