Cross Layer Design Energy Efficient Protocol Integrating with MAC and Routing

This paper proposes an enhanced AIMRP protocol——E-AIMRP.Designing for the event detecting and quick reporting applications,it integrates MAC and routing with cross layer mechanisms,solves the problems in AIMRP of low energy efficient resulting from the multi-node event detecting and reports,and enhances the topology of single node detecting model.Simulation results show that E-AIMRP outperforms AIMRP for energy efficiency and time delay in the event-detection applications.
