The Study of Query Rewriting Technology of Heterogeneous Data Source Integration System

In heterogeneous data source integration system under web environment, data source may be strong structurally relational, and may be semi-structural or unstructural. In this paper a query rewriting algorithm is put forward, using views to reformulate user's query into subqueries that refer directly to the sources. Theoretical analysis proves that the approach greatly reduces query cost.
