Latency Budget of Deferred Negative Acknowledgement CFDP in Deep Space Communication

According to the communication environment in deep space and time delay of communication protocol in deep space long distance communication,the transmission mechanism of deferred negative acknowledgement CFDP in CCSDS AOS was investigated in this paper.The communication means of the latency was provided using the protocol.The factors affected the latency those were bit error rate,data rate and the size and number of PDU were discussed by simulation.The requirements of bit error rate in deep space communication in a typical application were acquired.The results showed that CFDP could be used in deep space communication,which transmitted file data correctly in the condition of huge latency.
