The Non-Uniform Distribution in eMule System

eMule is a popular P2P file sharing software, which owns millions of users. We developed a Crawler through the KAD overlay network, and crawls down the nodes' information. We discovered the non-uniform distribution of the eMule system in many aspects, such as the regions the nodes in, the IP addresses, the copies of different files and the amount of files each user shares. And we also find the distribution of the copies of different files and the distribution of the amount of files each user shares mainly conform to the Zipf distribution. Besides we find the difference between the two distributions and Zipf, and we analyze the reason why the difference occurs.
