Application of Image Mosaic on Communications Survey

An improved method of image mosaic to improve efficiency of wireless base station survey is proposed,and it is applied to wireless base station survey to verify. Firstly,the SIFT feature point of image are extracted,and its 64—dimension descriptors are compated. Ratio between the first and the second closest distance is used to doing bidirectional matching to eliminate wrong matching,and the image mosaic is done with the weighted average method. The experimental results show that,this method could do the image mosaic quickly and exactly for its good performance,and enhance the work efficiency of surveyor,and it has quite a practical application value.
