A FINITE DIFFERENCE REPRESENTATION OF WAVELETS BASED ON ORTHONORMALIZATION

In this paper,we investigate a kind of representation of wavelets in time domain.Using the orthonormalization technique,we obtain a finite difference representation of wavelets.What's more,as a special case,we construct orthogonal B-spline wavelets of arbitrary order in this form.The result shows that this kind of representation used to obtain the wavelet filters directly is effective in time domain.
