The paper proposes a new mothed for sloving Optimal Route Selection ba sed on Varible Chromosome-length Genetic Algorithms(VCGA),Gived the requirement of source/ destination pair and network topology,it can find the optimal routi ng throuth chain selecting other than routing selecting.The results of experimen t show that it is valid.
