Low Cost Design for Noise Meter

Noise is one of the three major pollutions in nowadays,so that noise pollution surveillance appears important.The price of the noise mater is very high at present,a low cost noise meter has been designed,which is made up of noise signal acquisition and amplification circuit,weighting network,the operation circuit for effective value and logarithm and the adjustment and displaying module.The elaborate design and optimization has done for the weighting network,the result shows that the meter has characteristics of portable,low-cost and datum mark adjustable so on,which can meet the requirements for civil use.
