Considerations on Architecture for Next-Generation Internet

Architecture plays an important role in the development of computer network.Without fully defined architectural principle,the designers can only start with temporary target and resolve some specific problems.As time goes by,this method inevitably leads to complexity,chaos and inflexibility in the network design.This paper analyzes flaws and shortages existing in present architecture,sums up some new ideas in architecture study,gives some thoughts on how to construct the next-generation Internet architecture.This paper is a good reference for the study of next-generation network architecture.
