Intelligent Decision Support System of Traffic Incident Management on Freeway

Incident management is a complex non-structure problem. The intelligent decision support system (IDSS) can solve the problem effectively. For it offers sound advice for decision-makers. The common process and content of freeway incident management are discussed. According to the demand of incident management, the design method of the IDSS of freeway traffic incident management is put forward by means of a combination of model base, data warehouse and knowledgebase based on IDSS theory.
