Research on OWL ontology query technique

The design idea and implementation technique of a Jena-based prototype tool OWL-QS for supporting OWL Lite ontology query were presented based on API of ontology query technique,with focus placed on the process flow and realization method for ontology parsing,ontology information visualization and ontology elements(classes,properties,and individuals) query.Case studies show that the functions of OWL-QS are effective,and technique for OWL ontology query based on current open-source ontology APIs,such as Jena,is feasible.
