Research of Dot Matrix Two-dimensional Bar Code Based on Morphological Image Processing

The identification of the two-dimensional bar code was studied.It was found that the two-dimensional bar code always punched on the material surfaces with dot matrix.The existing detection algorithm is only suitable for printed papers;it can not be used to detect two-dimensional bar code on other material surfaces.We used the close operations to handle the dot matrix two-dimensional bar code;it can be converted into continuous format which make the location much easier.At the same time,we found that the square structural element of the close operations can be determined by computing the average pixels of each module.
