Computer Aided Design of the Singlet for Advanced Modular Design of Elliptic Function Filter

The singlet has been introduced as the most basic building block for modular design of elliptic and pseudo-elliptic function filter.We can get elliptic and pseudo-elliptic inline filter by cascading singlets.In this paper,we present a computer aided design approach for singlet design.The proposed CAD approach is applied to the design of a singlet with center frequency 28 GHz.The simulation result shows good agreement with the synthesized values and proved the validity of the method.
