Performance comparison of CFDP and SCPS-TP in space communications
Wan Peng · Journal of Computer Applications · 2010
Both CCSDS File Delivery Protocol(CFDP) and SCPS-Transport Protocol provide reliable data transmission in space communications. The authors evaluated CFDP and SCPS-TP both in a theoretical and in an experimental manner,in terms of bandwidth,Bit Error Ratio(BER) and propagation delay. Results show that CFDP works more efficiently than SCPS-TP when the channel condition is critical.
