Effect of Temperature on Seed Germination and Physiological Character of Maize Hybrid

The effects of different temperatures on maize seed germination and seedling growth characteristics were studied in Liaoning province,which chose Liaodan565,Liaodan527 and Dongdan90 as materials.The result showed that physiological indicators of germination percentage seedling,height,seedling dry weight and root dry weight and length of different cultivars had changed at different degrees,which effected by variation of temperature.Various physiological indicators showed an unimodal curve with the increase of the temperature change,the peak appeared in the processing temperature of 33 degree Celsius.Clustering analysis results of five temperature sensitive indicators in ten varieties showed that,Dongdan90 was not resistant to low temperature cultivar,Liaodan565,Liaodan120,Danyu39 were the both low and high temperature resistant cultivars.
