Fast intra-prediction algorithm of AVS based on self-adapting threshold

Encoding part of AVS(audio video coding standard) is mainly studied and intraprediction process is given in detail.Intra-prediction is a time-assuming module in AVS encoding system,optimize it can increase the encoding efficiency.According to the character smoothness and correlation of neighbor sub-blocks,a optimized new fast intra-prediction mode selection algorithm is put forward based on self-adapting threshold for short the redundant search directions.The experimental results show that the new algorithm can short the encoding time and decrease the complexity of calculating but only increasing a little code rate,and the SNR is almost unchanged.
