A wireless sensor network key management program was presented which is based on hexagonal region. And based on a kind of key pre-distribution mechanism, key pre-distribution function of chain mechanism was presented and it generated communication keys by sharing the key function. In addition, the method of calculating critical nodes of the region is used to find a regional scope which is coveraged by nodes, and streamlines the number of the key function chain in nodes. The simulation analysis showed that the program reduces the memory usage of nodes, ensures the absolute connectivity in nodes, improves the scalability of network and reduces the energy consumption of the node.
