On construction of CSG data warehouse and decision support system

China Southern Power Grid Co.,Ltd.(CSG) is an extra large operation and management enterprise group.To make the best of the great amount of business and management data accumulated in the course of power system development,and to satisfy the needs of production and supervision management at each level,the construction of enterprise data warehouse(data mart) and decision support system(DSS) is of the greatest importance.In this paper,the construction of data warehouse and DSS is discussed,the configuration and application of the system expounded.Finally,it is indicated that the introduction of data warehouse and DSS into CSG for strengthening data management and decision making is reasonable.
