Algorithm of edge detection based on cloud model cellular automata

To resolve the problems of edge detection algorithm of images based on fuzzy seasoning and cellular automata,a new improved edge detection algorithm of images based on cloud model cellular automata was presented.Firstly,direction information and edge order information were used as edge characteristic information;Secondly,cloud model was applied to inference those information;Thirdly, accurate feedback information gotten from inference results was added to direction information measure and direction edge order measure;Finally,edge of images was detected by automatic evolution of cellular automata.Experimental results prove that this algorithm has powerful ability in exiguous edge detection and it is a promising and applied image processing algorithm.
