The Association of the Harmony Process and the Dynamics Design in Piano Music

Besides the composer's marks, the harmonic process also influenced the dynamics design in piano music. For the keyboard works in Baroque or in the early Classical time, there was few dynamics marks, only the harmony changes could be the basis of dynamics design. The article discussed several elements to effect the harmonic dynamics, and further more, introduced two states of harmony influenced the sound dynamics. The writer believed that the synchronous cases are common in the piano work dynamics relationship; whereas the asynchronous are not much, only used for representation of the specifically. For piano teachers and players, both aspects of the dynamics design are need pay attention
