Study on the Calibration of Intelligent Neutron Probe (L520) in the Measuring Soil Water Content in the Farmland

The intelligent neutron probe(L520) is used to measure soil water content in the test-plot which belongs to meadow soil. A regression equation about calibrating soil water content has been got in the soil depths of 0～100cm. This shows that this method is simpler, quicker and more precise on measuring soil water content than gravimetric method.
