Assessment of reliability of principal determination indexes of automatic common hematolo-gical analyzer

Objective To assess the reliability of main parameters of the four automatic hematology analyzers.Methods Referring to the document announced by the International Hematology Standardization Committee ICSH in 1986,the accuracy and the intra and inter-assay precisions were compared by determination of WBC,RBC,HB and PLT of the standard whole blood samples from 150 subjects.Results There no significant differences were observed among the results of the accuracy and the intra and inter-assay precision; The results of F test showed that there was no significant differences in determination of samples of subject on four instruments (P0.05).Conclusion The hematology analyzers meet the requirements and their results are in good agreement with each other. It is important for laboratories to compare the results and variance of all the different hematology analyzers,which is also necessary to ensure the accuracy and precision of the results.
