A New Fast Motion Estimation Algorithm in H.264 Video Coding

In this paper,a combined fast motion estimation algorithm with prediction center and thresholds for early termination is proposed.Experiments on the proposed method show the PSNR and bit rate only have a small change and the speed of encoder has a large improvement.Meanwhile,the proposed method decreases the complexity of the encoder successfully and improves the search efficiency.
