Compatibility Research of J2EE Application Server

The architecture of J2EE applications is analyzed, and the main reason that platform depended deployment descriptors make applications can not achieve “write once, run anywhere” is also pointed out. The method of intelligent container simulation is proposed. XSLT and Java technologies are adopted to realize low-cost migration and runtime compatibility in this method. Experiments about pet store applications prove that this method is effective, feasible and valuable to study deeply.
