Effect of Different Harvest Time on Yield and Quality of Flue-Cured Tobacco Upper Leaves

It was the bottleneck in industrial application about the upper leaves of flue-cured tobacco,the yield and quality of upper leaves of flue-cured tobacco in different harvest time were studied.The results showed that,the maturity of leaves increased and the energy consumption decreased when the harvest time of the upper leaves delayed.Compared with the contrast of normal harvest,when the harvest time was delayed by 10 days,the ratio of the classy,the medium and the orange leaves increased by 8.35,8.85 and 10.56 percentage points respectively,and the average price of the tobacco leaves was 1.08 yuan per kilogram higher than the contrast.When the harvest time of the tobacco leaves was delayed by 10 days,the content of nicotine was lowest with the value of 2.96%;the total sugar and reducing sugar were highest with the value of 27.92% and 23.70%;and the content of potassium was the highest with the value of 1.95%.In conclusion,at an altitude of 800 m,the upper leaves of the flue-cured tobacco had the best yield and quality when harvest time was delayed by 10 days.
