Vector Granger causality and its application in complex network

Since Granger put forward the notation of causality in 1969,the application of Granger causality in the construction of the structure of biological network(gene network,protein network and neuron network) has become more and more extensive,but it can only get the inter-relationship among single nodes.For the interaction between genes and neurons in the real biological network,it is the case that the actual network structure always very complex,the interaction among the groups is needed to study.In this paper,the method of Granger causality is extended to vector Granger causality,and the method is validated by two simulative examples.
