Mountingfluid viscous dampersinto structures to dissipate earthquakeenergy is an up-to-date technology,the characteristics and the methodsof design and calculation are expatiated in this paper.The results of calculation show the effect of this technology on reducing earthquakeresponse and enhancingaseis-mic capacity of structures.[
