An-Ping Wang · Electric Power Information Technology · 2012
There are some special and specific requirements for the power supply companies in the field of distribution network planning, which large-scale geographic information system (GIS) can not fully meet. Thus, there is a need to develop a specialized system based on the small-scale GIS. Combing the features of large-scale GIS with the characteristics of distribution network planning business, this paper gives system requirements, develops the corresponding BBEGPS platform, and describes the data framework construction method and typical applications in the planning construction. Practical results show that the platform has advantages of data compatibility and usability, makes a worthful supplement to the large-scale GIS, and establishes the foundation for developing and strengthening distribution network planning under the Three Intensive Management and Five Large-scale Movements system.
