Design of a Class of Simple Fuzzy Controller Based on Variable Universe of Discourse

In this paper, a kind of proportional expandable shrinkable factor is defined to replace conventional exponential factors and integral factors at the antecedent part and consequent part of inference. And a class of simple fuzzy control algorithm is present-ed based on variable universe of discourse. The existing algorithms'advantage of high precision is inherited by the controller consist-ed of the new algorithm. And comparing with existing algorithms, the new algorithm's computation is significantly reduced. So a use-ful way to problems in practical applications is obtained by using the simper fuzzy control algorithm.
