Key technologies of human computer interaction in EMS of smart grid

The design of HCI(Human Computer Interaction) in EMS(Energy Management System) of smart grid is discussed under the guidelines of human factors engineering and some key technologies are analyzed.Different multi-view presentation methods,including single window,multiple windows and multiple screens,are compared and their coordination types are analyzed.The event and task trigger mechanism is introduced to implement the intelligent HCI and some key points of relevant rules are proposed:the state determination,the information selection and distribution,the visualization and coordination type selection.The visualization of sequential data is discussed and three effective methods are introduced and analyzed:the pixel bar charts,the multi-view coordination,the spatial and temporal integration in 3-D GIS.To improve the naturalness degree of HCI and ensure the attention of operator,the direct HCI mode is suggested.
