Application of WLAN to Multi-campus Universities and Colleges: A Case Study of Central South University of Forestry and Technology

WLAN makes it possible for people to set up a local area network at low cost and move around with a laptop connected to the network all along.It is flexible,convenient and has incredible potential to dilate.Therefore,only with WLAN can people swiftly connect to the network and truly enjoy the convenience and easiness of the network.This paper simply discusses the application of wireless campus nets,taking for example the basic design requirement of the campus net of CSFTU.It puts forward a plan for the construction of wireless campus nets with centralized control connection,peer to peer connection,trunk connection and mixed connection.
