Crowd Density Estimation Method Based on Video Image Research

Crowd density estimation as an important means of public management, has been an important direction in the field of in-telligent video surveillance system research, and has a very broad application prospects in public safety and scientific research. Inthis paper, the basic concept, the basic flow and the grade classification of crowd density estimation are introduced. The main algo-rithms in current research are analyzed and compared. The bottleneck problem need to be solved is summarized, and then the ideasfor further research are provided.
