Underwater Passive Target Motion Analysis Based on UKF

The newly proposed unscented kalman filter is introduced,and used in the problem of underwater passive Tar- get Motion Analysis.Compared with extend kalman filter,unscented kalman filter can get higher precision of the posi- tion and velocity of target,but also can solve the nonlinear problem of system model much better.Simulation results show that this new filter has a better performance no matter in calculation or filter precision than extend kalman filter. and can overcome the problem of filter divergent in position tracking.
