Decision Support System for Optimal Dispatching of Small Hydropower Stations in Shaoguan Power Network

In order to improve the exploitation ability of small hydroelectricity and direct the routine work of Shaoguan local dispatching center,such as prediction and dispatching decision,a system which can support the optimization of dispatching decision has been established for the small hydropower station group of Shaoguan power grid.The system includes the management of hydrographic data,the prediction of reservoir inflow and the optimization dispatching of hydropower generation.In this paper,the construction,systematic functions and application of the system are introduced.The system enables better use of water resources in Shaoguan and brings remarkable social and economic benefits.
