Application of support vector machine to forecasting and calculating reservoir thickness

In this paper,we establish the support vector machines model to forecasting and calculating reservoir thickness by the analyzing of reservoir structure in oil field.We study it from multi-aspects: parameter range,kernel selection,error criterion and so on,we find out an effective method to be used to establish the model of forecasting and calculating reservoir thickness.By forecasting and calculating the reservoir thickness in practice,it proves that this method has higher reference value to forecasting and calculating reservoir thickness.
