Cryptanalysis and Improvement of a Signcryption Scheme with Public Verifiability

Lee's signcryption scheme with public verifiability is cryptoanalyzed and improved.By studying the confidentiality and non-repudiation of Lee's scheme,the fact that the confidentiality of Lee's scheme is lost during its public verification is found.Lee's scheme is modified,and the modification overcomes the security problem in Lee's scheme.So the modified scheme is a security signcryption scheme with public verifiability and it is of great benefit to solve the open problem “design signcryption schemes with public verifiability”.
