Research on the Storage of XML Document in Relational Database

XML is becoming the most preferred format in various databases or documents, however, due to the differences in data model, utilizing relational database to query or operate XML data brings new challenge to traditional database technology. Through a new XML relational database storage method based on DTD, this method sets up table structure and index against DTD and XML document respectively and the efficiency of query get enhanced accordingly.
