A Fast Method for Measurement of Frequency

ESPRIT algorithm is form-closed without search procedure, and the input data matrix can be changed into real from complex through simple matrix transformation. Utilizing the special structure of the data matrix that has been transformed, based on real eignvalue solution procedure, the computation complexity gets smaller considerably. What is more, the structure of the ESPRIT itself is fit for parallel processing. According to the characteristics mentioned above, this paper presents a fast algorithm for the sake of measurement of frequency of return signal in radar based on the ESPRIT, which is of higher precision and lower computation complexity, and is applicable to radar signal processing according to simulations.\;
