Exploration of guiding restaurant service robots
Yang Zhen-hong · Sensor World · 2011
It is very important to guide the robots to the specified places accurately for the design of mobile service robots working in the places like restaurants and families. To solve this problem, a solution based on the ultrasound-guided triangulation method is proposed. With the low-cost sensors and simple algorithm, the service robots can obtain current position data with higher accuracy and then be guided to the working places. The positioning theory and implementing methods are introduced in details in this paper.
