Research on Image Retrieval Technique in Paper-cut Art Multimedia Interactive Platform

Using information technology to protect intangible cultural heritage resources is one of the hot topics of current research,and the research on image retrieval technology is critical in the process of constructing paper-cut art multi-media interactive platform.The ideas and algorithms of text-based image retrieval(TBIR)and content-based image retrieval(CBIR)were analyzed which were implemented on the paper-cut art multi-media interactive platform.The advantages and disadvantages of TBIR and CBIR were compared with and the approach of combining the two kinds of retrieval methods were discussed,based on which the solution using automatic semantic annotation technology to solve thesemantic gapexisting in the image retrieval problem was proposed to improve the efficiency and accuracy of image retrieval.
