Research of Business Transaction Process in Web Service Composition

Web service Composition has become the focus of research and development in Web service domain. Different component Web services in the composition have the requirement of consistency and soundness of operations, so need the support of transaction process. Now there are many Web service composition models and description languages, but none provides the support of transaction process. This thesis analyses the requirement of business transaction process in Web service composition and introduces the support mechanism of main Web service transaction protocol in BPEL4WS specification, a most important Web service composition description language, and then designs and implements a prototype system TAWSCRS.
