Study of Goods-Placement Distribution Conceptual Data Model in the Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems

One of the major problems to be solved in the automated storage retrieval systems is concerned with the efficient goods-placement management and distribution. Based on the analysis of several goods-placement strategies, this paper elaborates on their respective advantages and disadvantages comprehensively. And with consideration of goods-replacement principles, the paper suggests the appropriate CDM(Conceptual Data Model) of goods-placement distribution suitable for the automated storage retrieval systems and realization of the CDM in practice.
