Recognition for Handwritten Numbers Based on Networks Combination Optimized by Genetic Algorithm

Technology of handwritten numbers recognition has been widely applied at present. Networks combination algorithm optimized by genetic algorithm take the method of networks combination for handwritten numbers recognition after image processing, with optimum networks initial weights obtained by using improved GA. DCT is used to reduce redundancy in gray characteristic network resulted by binarization. Experiment has prove efectiveness of the algorithm.
