Digital Content and Its Security

As the infrastructures of optical transmission networks and wireless mobile access networks are getting more and more accomplished, the digital content industry is rapidly becoming a new driver of the information technology industry while the importance of its industry analysis and technique research are increasingly rising. Digital content security technology is one of the three major technologies supporting this industry. Digital content security is a key solution to prevent piracy and illegal use, controlling the pollution of the illegal or harmful content to the societies, and providing the means for consumers' security and reasonable payment. This involves many challenging scientific and technical problems such as efficient algorithms of multimedia encrypting and information hiding, web environmental multimedia content recognition and filtering algorithms, hybrid network oriented micro payment protocols, etc.
