A Classified Compact Scheme for Modularized Channel Assignment and Its Performance Evaluation

This paper presents a classified compact scheme for modularized channel assignment.The scheme guarantees that its channel reuse distance will be identical to that of the fixed channel assignment and,at the same time,it is able to adapt to traffic variation as in the dynamic channel assignment.The paper also presents an analytical model using a three dimensional Markov chain.Simulation shows that the model can match real systems very well.It therefore provides a valuable means for evaluating the system performance.
