Design and Realization of Chart Symbol Library Based on ArcGIS

Building up chart symbol library is one of the basic tasks in digital chart production.ArcGIS is one of the most suitable software with unique functions in digital chart production.As the same as other GIS software,the symbol library of ArcGIS still can't completely satisfy the requirement of digital chart production and display.Thus,through an example of symbolizing digital chart,the paper described the methods in building up chart library under the condition of ArcGIS.
